Sreesanth blocked Harbhajan Singh on Instagram, said on ‘slap scandal’ – ‘I will never forget…’

The slapping incident between Sreesanth and Harbhajan Singh in IPL 2008 has once again come into discussion. Former fast bowler Sreesanth has now accused Harbhajan Singh of earning money from IPL Slapgate. In a recent interview, S Sreesanth has claimed that Harbhajan almost earned money by making an advertisement based on Slapgate. He also said that Bhajji had asked Sreesanth to put this advertisement on his Instagram, but the former pacer had directly refused to do so.

Indian fast bowler Sreesanth has accused Harbhajan Singh in an interview that he is earning money from the slapping incident in IPL. Malayalam news outlet ‘Mathrubhoomi’ quoted Sreesanth as saying, “I have never talked about bhajji in any interview, this will be the first time… Till recently, there was no problem, but once again they made an advertisement about it. They earned around Rs 80 lakh to Rs 1 crore from it. Then they called me and asked me to post a story about it.”

Sreesanth will not forget the slapping incident

Harbhajan Singh had asked Sreesanth to share that advertisement on his Instagram. But, Sreesanth did not like this thing at all. If reports are to be believed, Sreesanth had blogged Bhajji after this.

Sreesanth further said, “I told him, ‘I will forgive, but never forget… If someone does something wrong to you, you should forgive him, but never forget. If you forget, they will do the same thing again. He is the biggest example of this. There is no doubt about it.”

What was the slapping incident?

IPL started in 2008, in which Harbhajan Singh was a part of Mumbai Indians and Sreesanth was playing for Kings XI Punjab. At the same time, after the match between Mumbai Indians and Kings XI Punjab, when the players of both the teams were shaking hands, then Bhajji slapped Sreesanth in front of everyone. After that Sreesanth was seen crying and the matter escalated quickly. After this matter escalated, Harbhajan Singh was banned for the entire season and his match fee was also deducted.
