Sri Lanka beats West Indies with a debutant

Spots: A three-match T20 series is going on between Sri Lanka and West Indies. The second match of the T20 series was played on October 15 at the Rangili Dambulla International Stadium in Dambulla, where Sri Lanka defeated West Indies by 73 runs to level the series. Earlier, Sri Lanka had lost to West Indies by five wickets in the first T20 match. Actually, in the second T20 match between Sri Lanka and West Indies, after winning the toss and coming to bat first, Sri Lanka scored 162 runs at the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs. Pathum Nissanka played the most innings for the Sri Lankan team. He scored 54 runs with the bat in 49 balls with the help of 9 fours and one six and Romaria Sheppard took the maximum two wickets for West Indies.

In contrast, West Indies team was reduced to 89 runs in 16.1 overs. Captain Roman Powell scored 20 runs, which is the biggest innings for West Indies. West Indies did not have a good start.
