Donald Trump gave big responsibility to Indian-American man, made him senior AI policy advisor in White House

Obnews Tech Desk: US President-elect Donald Trump has entrusted Indian-American entrepreneur Shriram Krishnan with important responsibilities in the White House. He has been appointed Senior Policy Advisor on Artificial Intelligence (AI). Krishnan's main task will be to advise the White House on maintaining US leadership in the field of AI. On this appointment, Trump said, “I will work with David Sachs and Shriram to maintain American leadership in AI.”

Sriram Krishnan: An eminent professional

Sriram Krishnan is a renowned name in the field of technology and leadership. He has held senior positions in giant companies like Microsoft, Twitter, Yahoo, Facebook and Snap. He also worked with Elon Musk during Twitter's transformation. Additionally, he also played a key role in the prestigious venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz (a16z). In 2023, he took charge of a16z's London office and departed the company in November.

This decision of Donald Trump has been welcomed by the Indian-American community.
