Unlike every other year, Shah Rukh Khan did not continue the tradition of waving to fans outside his residence as the clock struck 12. Although it was SRK’s birthday, the actor fulfilled the wish of one of his superfans. Despite avoiding public appearances, SRK made sure to meet a dedicated fan from Jharkhand who camped outside Mannat, SRK’s Mumbai residence, for over 95 days!
You read that right, fighting against Mumbai’s heat, the fan finally achieved his goal of meeting his idol came true. On November 2, Shah Rukh Khan met this superfan and took a picture with him. The now-viral picture has been circulating over social media. SRK meets superfan! 95 days’ dedication pays off
Shaikh Mohammed Ansari, Shah Rukh Khan’s fan from Jharkhand left all business and personal life behind and spent months outside Mannat in hopes of his idol. Shaikh revealed that meeting Shah Rukh Khan was the ultimate victory and became an obsession in his life. He was elated when his dreams finally came true during a special fan meet organised for SRK’s 59th birthday.
In a conversation with NDTV, Shaik explained that he had a computer centre in his village, which he abandoned to meet Shah Rukh Khan. From the very beginning of his camping, Shaikh was set on meeting his idol regardless of what came his way. When asked about his losses due to him setting camp in front of Mannat, he said that he would not return home till he successfully comes face-to-face with SRK, otherwise, he would ‘not have any respect left’.
