Know what is SSC CGL and why there is a craze for it among the youth?

After this stipulated time the application window will be completely closed and forms will not be accepted under any circumstances. However, candidates will be able to pay their application fees in online mode after one day i.e. till 23rd June 2026.

In such a situation, if you delay, your form may remain incomplete.

Who can apply? Know the required qualification and age limit

If you also want to appear in this examination, then it is mandatory for you to have a graduation degree from any recognized university or institute. Keep in mind that for some special and technical posts, a different subject or some extra educational qualification may also be demanded, for which candidates should read the official notification carefully.

As far as age limit is concerned, the minimum age of the candidate applying for these posts should be between 18 years and maximum age of 32 years. This age limit may also change slightly according to different posts. Apart from this, candidates belonging to reserved categories of the country like SC, ST, OBC and other categories will also be given good relaxation in the maximum age limit as per the rules of the Central Government.

Application Fee: Who will get exemption and who will have to pay?

The Commission has fixed very nominal application fees for different categories. Male candidates of General, OBC and EWS categories will have to deposit an application fee of only Rs 100. On the other hand, Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), women candidates of all categories, Persons with Disabilities (PwBD) and Ex-Servicemen have been completely exempted from this application fee, that is, they will not have to pay any fee. Eligible candidates can pay this fee online very easily through UPI, Net Banking or through their debit-credit card.
