New Delhi: The Staff Selection Commission is currently accepting applications for the SSC Constable General Duty (GD) exam 2025. Candidates can submit the SSC GD Constable application forms 2024 online till October 14. Through an official notice, the commission has stated that there will not be any further extension of the last date to apply for the recruitment process for the posts of Constable GD in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Special Security Force (SSF), Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in the Narcotics Control Bureau. The SSC GD Constable 2025 registration link is available on the official website, ssc.gov.in.
SSC’s official notice reads, ‘It is hereby reiterated in the interest of the candidates of Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau Examination, 2025 that they should submit their Online Application Form much before the closing date i.e., 14.10.2024 and not wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of rush on account of heavy load on the website during the closing days. Candidates are further cautioned that no extension of the last date for submission of the Online Application Form shall be granted under any circumstances.’
SSC GD Constable 2025 selection process
The SSC GD Constable 2025 recruitment is done based on a computer test, a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) or Physical Standard Test (PST), a Detailed Medical Exam (DME) and document verification. Those who will be selected for the posts will be paid between the range of Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100 per month, which includes allowances and additional pay.
Earlier, the SSC GD Constable application process started on September 5. Through this SSC recruitment drive a total of 39,481 vacant posts will be filled.
