Moradabad: A heart-wrenching incident has come to light in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, which has shocked the entire area. In a fit of rage, a young man stabbed his own twin sister to death and later attacked his mother as well. What started as a minor dispute within the family quickly turned so dangerous that a young girl lost her life and her mother was seriously injured.
According to the police, this incident happened last week, when an argument started between the brother and sister regarding career and personal relationships. Gradually the argument escalated to such an extent that the young man lost his temper and stabbed his sister several times with a knife.
Both brother and sister lived together in Gurugram.
According to the information, 25-year-old Hardik and his twin sister Himashikha were living in Gurugram for some time. Both were engineers by profession. Along with her job, Himashikha was also studying MBA and was busy pursuing her career.
Hardik earlier worked in a private company, but he left the job about one and a half years ago. After this he started spending most of his time on social media. Family members told that a lot of changes were being seen in his behavior for the last few months. He used to use mobile phone till late night and was often busy in online chat.
Relationship started from social media
Police investigation has revealed that Hardik was identified with a woman from Pune through social media. It is being told that he wanted to marry her. Hardik’s mother Neelima and sister Himashikha used to repeatedly advise him to focus on his career first and bring stability in life. The family believed that for now he should focus on strengthening his future.
The debate took a dangerous turn
It is reported that on the evening of March 6, a conversation started in the house on this topic. At first it was a normal discussion, but after some time a heated argument broke out between the brother and sister. In anger, Hardik picked up a vegetable cutting knife kept in the kitchen and attacked his sister. During the attack he stabbed him several times with a knife. According to the post mortem report, a total of 84 wounds were found on Himashikha’s body, due to which she died on the spot.
Mother was also targeted
After the murder of his sister, Hardik reached his mother Neelima’s office to meet her. Neelima works as an assistant manager in an insurance company. Hardik asked him to go home and told him that he had a surprise for him. When Neelima reached home, she saw her daughter in a pool of blood. As soon as he raised an alarm, Hardik attacked him too. Neelima was seriously injured in this attack and was immediately admitted to the hospital. According to doctors, now his condition is out of danger.
Police arrested the accused
As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police started investigation and arrested Hardik within about 24 hours. During interrogation, he told that he had become mentally angry due to his family repeatedly advising him to focus on his career and stay away from relationships. At present the police is investigating this entire matter in depth. This incident once again shows how a family’s happiness can be ruined in a moment due to anger and mental stress.
