Stabbed to death in London, who was Gurbhej Singh, whose death created an uproar?

26 year old Gurbej Singh has been brutally stabbed to death in Southall area of ​​London city of England. As soon as information about this incident was received, the Metropolitan Police registered the case and started investigation. Gurbhej Singh was a resident of Mehandipur village in Tarn Taran district of Punjab and his father Mukhtar Singh has accused the friends living with Gurbhej of the attack.

 

Gurbej Singh was the youngest of the four children of his parents and had gone to England for work about four years ago. His father Mukhtar Singh, who is the numberdar of Mehandipur village, said that three days ago friends called and informed that Gurbej was injured and was admitted to the hospital where he died on Thursday.

 

The father alleges that the friends who informed him had attacked Gurbhej with sharp weapons. Friends later tried to take him to the hospital but his injuries were so severe that his life could not be saved. Now the family has appealed to the Indian government to provide justice and bring the body to India soon.

This incident happened on Wednesday when the police received the news of attack with a sharp weapon at 12:41 pm. The attack took place at the intersection of North Road and Darmers Wells Lane. When the police reached the spot, two people were found there in injured condition. In this attack, Gurbej Singh died on the spot while the other 30 year old injured person has now gone home from the hospital after treatment.

The attack took place outside a shop at around 12:30 pm on Wednesday night. The police had detained seven people in this case. Six of these have been released after interrogation. The seventh person is currently on bail and will have to appear before the police again for investigation.

The police are investigating this matter in depth. Officials have asked people that if anyone saw anything wrong there that night or anyone has CCTV video of that place, they should immediately inform the police.
