Mumbai: The year 2025 proved to be the year of starkids for Bollywood. Amidst the ongoing debate on nepotism, new faces from many film families entered the industry. Some star kids proved themselves with their talent, hard work and performance, while some big names could not live up to the expectations and flopped at the box office.

From Aryan Khan to Shanaya Kapoor, Ahaan Pandey and Sara Arjun, the list of starkids making their debut in 2025 was quite long. Some showed excellence in direction and some made headlines through acting. So let us know about the star kids who will debut in 2025.

Aryan Khan: History created by direction

Shahrukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s son Aryan Khan chose direction as his debut platform, not acting. His first Netflix series ‘The Bads of Bollywood’ was released on 18 September. Aryan wrote, co-produced and also directed this series.

This series based on the glamor and inner truths of Bollywood became the most talked about debut of the year. Along with trending globally, it received tremendous appreciation from critics.

Ahaan Pandey: Become a romantic hero

Ananya Pandey’s cousin and Chunky Pandey’s nephew Ahaan Pandey entered Bollywood with Mohit Suri’s romantic film ‘Sayara’. The film was included among the highest grossing films of the year. Ahaan’s performance was appreciated by the audience and critics and he became a star overnight. His debut was a complete blockbuster.

Rasha Thadani: Powerful Dance

Raveena Tandon’s daughter Rasha Thadani debuted with Abhishek Kapoor’s period drama film ‘Azad’. Rasha’s acting in this film, which was released on January 17, and especially her dancing in the song ‘Ui Amma’ were liked. However, despite appreciation, the film could not perform well at the box office.

Aman Devgan: First film did not make an impact

Ajay Devgan’s nephew Amaan Devgan also entered Bollywood with the film ‘Azad’. Ajay Devgan had a supporting role in the film. Aman’s acting received mixed reviews and due to weak performance the film failed to attract the audience to the theatre.

Shanaya Kapoor: Debut was lackluster

Sanjay Kapoor’s daughter Shanaya Kapoor debuted with Vikrant Massey in the film ‘Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyan’. There was not much enthusiasm about Shanaya’s performance in this film, which was released on July 11. The film proved to be a flop at the box office and Shanaya’s debut garnered buzz but not success.

Ibrahim Ali Khan: Magic did not work on OTT

Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s son Ibrahim Ali Khan debuted with the Netflix film ‘Nadaaniyaan’. Khushi Kapoor was seen with him. Despite being a romantic comedy, the film received negative reviews and proved to be a flop.

Sara Arjun: Blockbuster Entry

Sara Arjun, who made her mark as a child artist, debuted as a lead actress in 2025. Actor Arjun’s daughter Sara acted opposite Ranveer Singh in the film ‘Dhurandhar’. This film, released on December 5, has so far earned more than Rs 480 crore and Sara’s debut proved to be a blockbuster.
