State government will give full encouragement to fairs and festivals: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav – ..

Bhopal, 16 November (HS). Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the state government will encourage fairs and festival culture. Ancient fairs are part of our culture. Bhopal has its own glorious history. There is also a huge lake built by Raja Bhoj in Bhopal. This area has also been associated with Emperor Vikramaditya. Organization of fairs will be promoted through Tirtha Mela Authority.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was inaugurating the Bhopal Fair at Dussehra Ground in TT Nagar, Bhopal late Saturday evening. On this occasion, he said that necessary steps will be taken by the state government on the suggestions related to organizing the fair.

The Chief Minister said that Lord Shri Krishna received his education in Ujjain on the land of Madhya Pradesh. Lord Shri Ram spent a long time in Chitrakoot. Lokmata Ahilya Devi established the Dev Sthan culture at a time when temples were being demolished. The bravery of the brave queen Durgavati was no less than anyone. He had won 51 consecutive wars and in the last 52nd war, when adverse circumstances arose, he considered it appropriate to sacrifice himself instead of accepting defeat.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that today’s young generation is given information about the rich and glorious history through many spiritual and cultural events in Madhya Pradesh, which has the history of such patriots and efficient rulers. Fairs and festivals are important for the common people.

The Chief Minister said that this year in Madhya Pradesh, government and society have jointly celebrated programs like Makar Sankranti, Gudi Padwa, Raksha Bandhan, Shastra Pujan on Vijayadashami and Govardhan Puja. The government will participate in such important events in future too. On this occasion, MP Alok Sharma, MLA Rameshwar Sharma, Bhopal Mayor Malti Rai, Municipal Corporation Bhopal Chairman Kishan Suryavanshi, Govind Goyal etc. were present.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav participated in Ganesh Vandana along with public representatives amidst the sounds of blowing conch. The Chief Minister inaugurated the fair by releasing balloons in the sky. Bhopal Utsav Mela Committee Chairman Manmohan Aggarwal said in the welcome speech that businessmen participate in the fair in the interest of the citizens without worrying about profit or loss. Aggarwal also gave some suggestions related to the fair. This fair will continue till 31 December 2024 at Dussehra ground located in TT Nagar.
