Due to poor fitness, attitude and discipline issues, the team was often forced to hide its performance on the field. The rules are the same for every player
The official also criticized the attitude of the show and said, 'The rules are the same for every player. Even while batting, Shaw was having difficulty reaching the ball from the bat. His fitness, discipline and attitude are bad. There cannot be different rules for different players. The senior players of the team also started complaining about his attitude.
a show that goes on all night
Shaw missed regular practice sessions during the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. And after staying out the whole night, he would reach the hotel at six in the morning. This much-hyped show is not able to do justice to its talent because of its off-field activities. The officer further said, 'Such social media posts will not do them any good. Mumbai selectors or MCAs will not be influenced by social media posts. Shaw needs to focus on his game and not on garnering sympathy.
Even before this, Shona was thrown out of the tournament due to indiscipline.
Earlier in October, Shaw was also dropped from Mumbai's Ranji Trophy team for the same reason. Shaw was not included by any franchise in the mega auction of IPL 2025. Its original price was Rs 75 lakh. But still no franchisee bought it.
