Due to poor fitness, attitude and discipline issues, the team was often forced to hide its performance on the field. The official said, 'We were playing with 10 fielders in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Because we had to hide the show. The ball would pass him by and he would not even be able to catch it.

The official also criticized the attitude of the show and said, 'The rules are the same for every player. Even while batting, Shaw was having difficulty reaching the ball from the bat. His fitness, discipline and attitude are bad. There cannot be different rules for different players. The senior players of the team also started complaining about his attitude.

Shaw missed regular practice sessions during the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. And after staying out the whole night, he would reach the hotel at six in the morning.
