Stefanie Pieper, Austrian influencer was murdered, buried inside suitcase in Slovenia forest by her ex-boyfriend- The Week

Stefanie Pieper, an Austrian beauty influencer, was found dead, with her body inside a suitcase, buried in a Slovenian forest. Her ex-boyfriend, Patrick M, admitted to killing and burying the woman to the police.

Pieper, who was based in Graz city in Austria, had an important appointment on the day she died, November 23. After she failed to show up, her friend had alerted the police. Pieper’s mother wrote on Facebook on November 24, “My daughter Stefanie P. has been missing since yesterday morning.” She mentioned that her daughter has her mother’s first name tattooed on her left forearm.

Officers who conducted a week-long investigation found out about her ex-boyfriend, Patrick M.

On the evening of November 23, police rushed to her apartment, but only found her ex-boyfriend and her dog. Patrick claimed that he was only looking after the dog for Pieper. Police had also found traces of blood door frame of the house; however, this could not implicate him.

Witnesses revealed more details. At around 8 am that day, an argument was heard from the apartment, and the man was seen walking out of the apartment with some kind of tarp or carpet from the apartment, Austrian media agency Kronen Zeitung reported.

A day after Stefanie disappeared, the accused was arrested near the Austrian-Slovenian Spielfeld border after his car was found burning near a casino. He was reportedly trying to cover up evidence. Slovenian authorities impounded his vehicle and handed him over to Austrian authorities.

After several rounds of questioning by the Austrian police, he admitted to commiting the crime. Patrick, 31, said that he strangled Pieper, placed her body in a suitcase case and buried in a wooded area in a Slovenian forest.

On Saturday, both the suspect’s brother and stepfather were also arrested. They were released afterwards after police confirmed they had no involvement.

After a week-long search, the influencer’s body was found in a wooded area in the Slovenian forest.

The accused could face up to 20 years or life imprisonment for the crime.
