The Golden State Warriors’ late-season playoff push ended abruptly with a 111-96 road loss to the Phoenix Suns.
They couldn’t keep the momentum going after taking down the Los Angeles Clippers, and Stephen Curry looked particularly banged up and sluggish.
Curry tried to will his team into the playoffs after missing roughly half of the season with a knee injury, but to no avail. Even so, he can clearly perform at a superlative level, and his impending contract extension will be a talking point this offseason.
When asked about that, however, Curry didn’t just want to think about himself. Instead, he may have put pressure on the front office to make some moves.

“For sure, but none of those conversations have happened,” Curry saidper Brett Siegel. “It will be a busy offseason for the Warriors.”
