Stock Market Crash: Market crashed as soon as it opened, Rs 6 lakh crore lost within a few minutes, know the reason?
Stock Market Crash: As soon as the stock market opened on Friday morning, it fell so much that investors did not get a chance to recover. A sharp decline was seen in both Sensex and Nifty. Within no time there was a loss of about Rs 6 lakh crore. The impact of this decline directly affected the pockets of investors.
Within a few minutes the total market value of BSE decreased from ₹431 lakh crore to ₹425 lakh crore. That means the money disappeared as if it had vanished in the blink of an eye. Not only big stocks, midcap and smallcap stocks also saw a decline. Banking and auto sectors remained under the most pressure, while the IT sector appeared to be a little stable.
Now the question is why did the market suddenly fall so much?
The biggest reason is the bad environment of the global market. The markets of America and Asia had already fallen, which affected India also. The second major reason is the increasing tension in the Middle East. There is constant uncertainty regarding the situation between Iran and Israel. Due to different news, fear is increasing among investors, and they have started withdrawing money.
The third reason is the weakness of the rupee. The rupee has reached a record low against the dollar, due to which the confidence of foreign investors has weakened. The fourth reason is the rising prices of crude oil. Due to oil becoming expensive, the pressure on India’s economy increases, and its effect is clearly visible on the market.
The fifth and important reason is the selling by foreign investors. In recent days, they have withdrawn a large amount of money from the Indian market, due to which the decline has intensified. This decline in the market is not just of one day but is the effect of many big reasons. At present there is an atmosphere of fear among investors and there may be fluctuations in the market.
