Stock Market: Flat start in the stock market today, slowness in Sensex-Nifty, investors will keep an eye on these stocks.
Mumbai, 5 December. The Indian stock market started trading with a slight fall on Friday morning. Investors appeared cautious before the credit policy of RBI came out. At 9:25 am, the Sensex was flat at 85,265.74, while the Nifty was trading at 26,040.95 with a slight gain of 7.2 points. Today, 1261 shares saw a rise, 1365 a fall and 158 shares remained unchanged.
Global signals remained mixed
Domestic markets received weak signals from the global level on RBI Policy Day, while FIIs are selling in the cash market for the sixth consecutive day. The long-short ratio has come down to 12%, which shows weak sentiment in the market. Gift Nifty was trading flat. Mixed trends were seen in Asian markets. Now the market’s eyes are on RBI’s monetary policy announcement at 10 am, in which important decisions related to repo rate and economic outlook will be made.
Special attention will be kept on these shares today
1. ITC Hotels
BAT (British American Tobacco) based shareholders are preparing to sell about 7% of their stake in ITC Hotels Ltd. This block deal will be worth approximately Rs 2998 crore. According to sources, the floor price for this transaction has been fixed at Rs 205.65 per share. Due to this, fluctuations may be seen in the stock.
2. Diamond Power Infrastructure
The company has received a mega order worth Rs 748 crore from Adani Green Energy. This order is related to solar cable supply, which the company will fulfill between January 2026 and December 2026.
3. RailTel
RailTel has received an order for ICT network work worth Rs 63 crore from CPWD. This order will strengthen both the order book and margins of the company.
4Gene Technologies
The company has received a huge order worth Rs 120 crore from the Defense Ministry for the supply of Comprehensive Training Node (CTN). A CTN setup includes a variety of training simulators and equipment. This will further strengthen the company’s position in the defense segment.
5. Lloyds Engineering Works
The company has entered into an important agreement with Italy’s VirtualAbs SRL. Under this, both the companies will develop radar technology for defense and civil use. Its positive effect can be seen on the company’s stock.
