New Delhi :The sudden attack during a religious bhajan evening program organized in Pandara Road area of Delhi created chaos in the entire area. This program was part of Thakur ji’s marriage festival, which is a three-day long event. The next day at around 6 pm, when the devotees were engaged in bhajan-kirtan, suddenly stones started being thrown and glass glasses started flying in the air and falling on the venue. A woman was seriously injured in this attack, who has been admitted to a nearby private hospital. After the incident, an atmosphere of fear and tension spread at the venue.
Quick action by police, two suspects in custody
As soon as information about the attack was received, Delhi Police immediately reached the spot. Along with this, the team of Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) has also inspected the incident site and started collecting evidence. The police have detained two laborers working nearby for preliminary questioning. However, it is not yet clear what was his role behind the attack and whether it was part of some bigger conspiracy. Police are interrogating both the suspects regarding who carried out the attack, why and how many people were involved.

Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has expressed a sharp reaction regarding the incident. The organization’s spokesperson Vinod Bansal claimed in a social media post that the attack was allegedly carried out by workers who were doing construction work nearby and whom they "Jihadi artisan" Said. He wrote that such an attack took place in the middle of a religious program in a considered safe area of the capital, which is a matter of concern not only for the people living there but for the entire Hindu community.
