‘Stop soft PR, don’t talk about samosas, question BJP in Parliament’ AAP’s sharp message to Raghav Chadha

New Delhi: Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader Saurabh Bhardwaj has advised Raghav Chadha to fearlessly raise questions on major issues of the BJP-led central government instead of speaking on issues like soft PR and samosas in the limited time of Parliament. Bhardwaj made this statement in response to the video message of Raghav Chadha, in which Chadha had expressed his reaction for the first time after being removed from the post of Rajya Sabha Deputy Leader.

Saurabh Bhardwaj’s advice to Raghav Chadha

After maintaining silence on Thursday on the decision to remove Raghav Chadha from the post of deputy leader of the party in Rajya Sabha, he released a video on Friday asking whether raising issues of public interest in Parliament is a crime. On this, Saurabh Bhardwaj replied in a video message that why is Raghav Chadha afraid of raising questions on the issues of the state and why is he speaking on issues like samosa in the Parliament.

the one who got scared died

Saurabh Bhardwaj said, Raghav Bhai, I just saw your video. We all are soldiers of Arvind Kejriwal ji. We have learned only one thing – he who is afraid is dead. Our job is to raise people’s issues and look the government in the eye and ask questions. He further said, in the last few days it has been seen that whoever raises serious issues against the government, questions the government or talks about the people, is considered an enemy. The government does not care about ‘soft PR’ issues.

Parliament’s limited time on important issues…

Bhardwaj said, the government works in a dictatorial manner. People are banned on social media platforms, be it Twitter, Facebook or YouTube. FIRs are registered and cases are initiated. The government does not care about soft PR speeches in Parliament. Small parties get very little time to speak in Parliament, so that time should be spent on issues of national importance and not on trivial matters.

being soft doesn’t help

Accusing Raghav Chadha of not joining the opposition parties in taking action against the government, Bhardwaj said, it is being seen in the country that before the elections, names of real voters are deleted and fake votes are created, due to which the government comes to power dishonestly. The same is happening in West Bengal also. Recently, when opposition parties tried to bring an impeachment motion against the Chief Election Commissioner, you refused to sign it. Whenever the opposition walks out of Parliament, you do not join it.

He further said, I have not seen you raising any such issue in Parliament for a long time where you directly questioned the Prime Minister or the BJP government. How can politics run with fear?

Advice to raise issues of Punjab

Bhardwaj asked, you represent Punjab, so why don’t you raise the issues of Punjab? False cases and FIRs were registered against about 160 party workers in Gujarat, many were arrested, yet you remained silent. When many of our leaders were in jail and Arvind Kejriwal was arrested in a false case when he was the Chief Minister, you were not even in the country. You went away and remained hidden.

BJP is supporting you

Saurabh Bhardwaj said that in his opinion national issues should be raised with courage and fearlessness. You will have to look the BJP in the eyes and ask questions. Otherwise being soft doesn’t matter. He said, BJP is supporting you on social media since yesterday. Think once – where did you start, where have you reached now, what does the country need and how can you do better.
