Strict instructions for ‘teachers’ and ’employees’ in Bihar

Gopalganj. In Gopalganj district of Bihar, the Education Department has taken a strict stand when the process of making immense IDs of students is not being completed at the expected speed. The education administration of the district has made it clear that now any kind of negligence in this work will not be tolerated.

The District Education Officer has directed all the Block Education Officers that by December 19, 100 per cent of the students of all the government and private schools of the district, whether primary, middle or high and higher secondary, should have their ID cards prepared. For this, a target has been set to make at least one thousand Apar IDs per day in each block.

According to the instructions, it will be mandatory for computer teachers and instructors posted in the blocks to work by being present in the block office every day. Also, the progress report of Apar ID manufacturing will have to be shared in the WhatsApp group created at the district level by 4 pm every day, which will also be sent to the state office.

The Education Department has also made it clear that if laxity in work is found at any level, then strict disciplinary action will be taken against the concerned personnel, school principals or in-charge principals and computer teachers. This may also include drastic measures like salary cuts.

Apart from this, all the government and private schools have been given the responsibility to provide the necessary information related to the students to the Block Resource Center on time, so that there is no hindrance in the process of making AAPAR ID.

Overall, this step of the Education Department is being considered an important effort towards ensuring the digital identity of students in a timely manner. Now it remains to be seen how effectively the district’s target is achieved within the stipulated time frame.
