District Magistrate Anupam Shukla organized an important meeting in his office room at the Collectorate with the aim of ensuring smooth and timely availability of gas cylinders to the LPG consumers of the district. District Supply Officer, representatives of oil companies BPCL, HPCL and IOCL, all supply inspectors and LPG distributors were present in the meeting. The District Magistrate directed all the gas agencies to ensure supply of gas cylinders to consumers in minimum time and to arrange for additional vehicles and human resources as per requirement, so that no consumer faces inconvenience.
During the meeting, the District Magistrate said that it is mandatory for every LPG gas connection holder to get KYC of his gas connection done, for this he directed the District Supply Officer to prepare a list of all non-KYC LPG consumers of the district and complete their KYC in a planned manner. In this, instructions were given to quickly complete the KYC process of gas connections of all the consumers by coordinating with the tenants.
The District Supply Officer informed all the LPG consumers that now they can complete the KYC of their gas connection sitting at home. For this, consumers should download Bharat Gas consumers Hello Bharat App (link), Indian Gas consumers IndianOil ONE App (link), HP Gas consumers HP PAY App (link) and AadhaarFaceRD App (link) from the Play Store of their Android mobile and follow the prescribed procedure. With this facility, consumers will not need to go to the gas agency, which will save time as well as make the process more simple and accessible.
