Strong storm and heavy rain in Delhi-NCR, hailstorm alert in 14 districts of Haryana
Weather Update: The weather has suddenly taken a turn in Haryana. Strong storm and rain were seen in many districts. Due to the effect of Western Disturbance, it rained in Faridabad, Fatehabad, Palwal, Gurugram, Rewari and Kaithal in the afternoon. Normal life was also affected due to strong winds in Gurugram. By evening it started raining in Bhiwani and Narnaul also.
Chance of thunder and hailstorm
The Meteorological Department issued the latest update at around 5.15 pm, in which an alert has been issued in many districts for the next three hours. According to the department, strong winds with a speed of 50 to 60 kilometers per hour can occur in Dadri, Bhiwani, Jhajjar, Rohtak, Hisar, Fatehabad, Sonipat, Panipat, Karnal, Yamunanagar, Jind, Kaithal, Kurukshetra and Ambala. There is also a possibility of thunder and hailstorm in these areas.
Thick layer of dust covered the sky
Apart from this, there is a possibility of dusty winds blowing at a speed of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour in Sirsa, Mahendragarh, Rewari, Nuh, Palwal and Panchkula. In Hisar, a thick layer of dust covered the sky in the evening, due to which people had to face a lot of trouble.
Talking about temperature, an average increase of 2.6 degrees Celsius has been recorded in the maximum temperature in the state, due to which the effect of humidity and heat has also increased.
Delhi-NCR got relief
There has been a rain of relief for the people of Delhi-NCR who have been scorching in the scorching heat for the last two days. This afternoon, heavy rain has started with dark clouds in the sky and strong storm, due to which the weather has become pleasant. At the same time, NCR residents have got relief from the scorching heat. Along with this, the Meteorological Department has warned of strong storm and rain in many areas of NCR.
Temperature likely to remain below 40 degrees for two days
According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature is likely to remain below 40 degrees till June 6. An alert has been issued for dust storm and heavy rain till June 4 and 5. IMD has predicted that during this period the maximum temperature will be between 36 to 38 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will be between 25 to 29 degrees Celsius.
Weather likely to be normal between June 7 and 9
A new western disturbance has become active on Wednesday, the effect of which can be seen till late night or Thursday morning. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is likely to remain generally stable between June 7 and 9 and the sky may remain clear during this period. In such a situation, the temperature is expected to rise above 40 degrees Celsius, which will increase the heat.
There was strong sunshine in Delhi since Wednesday morning, due to which people had to face the heat. The Meteorological Department had definitely expressed the possibility of rain, but till the time of writing the news, no rainfall was recorded anywhere. During this period, the maximum temperature in the capital was recorded at 39.1 degrees and the minimum temperature was 27.4 degrees Celsius. Along with this, maximum humidity was recorded at 76 percent and minimum at 41 percent.
