Strong winds will blow with sunshine in Delhi, know the weather condition of UP-Bihar and mountains – Read
At this time in the country, along with Holi, the weather patterns are also changing rapidly. According to the latest update of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), different types of weather will be seen in different parts of the country on March 5. On one hand, there is an alert of snowfall and rain in the hilly states. At the same time, the feeling of heat is going to increase due to rising mercury in many plain states including the country’s capital Delhi. As soon as the month of March starts in Delhi, the temperature is increasing rapidly. There is a possibility of bright sunshine during the day in Delhi and its surrounding areas (NCR) on March 5.
The Meteorological Department estimates that there will be a slight increase in temperature during the day, due to which people may feel hot in the afternoon. However, there is also a relief news for the people of Delhi. Winds are expected to blow at a speed of 10 to 15 kilometers per hour in the afternoon on March 5. The movement of these winds will help in filtering the pollutants dissolved in the air of Delhi, due to which a huge decline in AQI can be seen. There will still be slight coolness in the morning and night, but the weather during the day is going to be completely hot.
Heat will show its wrath in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar
People may face trouble due to rising mercury in many districts of Uttar Pradesh on Thursday. In districts like Lucknow, Kanpur, Bareilly, Agra, Mathura, Gorakhpur and Banda, the maximum temperature has crossed 30 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature in Lucknow on Thursday is expected to be 32 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will be 17 degrees Celsius.
The weather will be clear in Bihar also on March 5. Banka was the hottest in the state in the last 24 hours, where the temperature was recorded at 33.6 degrees Celsius. Heat is also being felt in cities like Patna and Gaya. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature in Bihar may increase by 1 to 4 degrees Celsius in the next 48 hours, and the mercury may cross 36 degrees within a week.
Big relief to eastern districts of Jharkhand
Contradiction is being seen in the weather of Jharkhand. While the minimum temperature in the southern districts (East-West Singhbhum) is around 17 degrees, the north-eastern districts like Deoghar, Godda and Dumka have recorded a drop in temperature. The maximum temperature here has fallen from 35 degrees to 32 degrees, which has given great relief to the people from the heat.
Weather in other states of the country
The weather will remain normal in Punjab and Haryana. There will be a slight increase in temperature due to slight cold in the morning and bright sunshine during the day. There is no chance of rain at present. Parts of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh may remain partly cloudy on March 5 and there is a possibility of light drizzle at isolated places. Heat will increase in cities like Ahmedabad and Surat of Gujarat. At the same time, in Maharashtra (Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur) the daytime temperature is expected to be above normal.
If we talk about South India, the heat wave is highest in Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. The temperature here remains between 32 to 37 degrees Celsius. The administration in Kerala has advised people not to go out in the afternoon and to drink enough water.
There may be snowfall and rain in the mountains
The weather is going to change in Himachal Pradesh after 2 days. A fresh Western Disturbance (WD) has been active in the state since March 7. Its effect will last for the next four days. WD will remain weak on March 7 and 8. During these two days, the weather will remain bad only in the higher reaches of Lahaul Spiti, Kinnaur, Chamba and Kullu.
