‘Students’ voice should be heard, being called anti-national is also acceptable’ CJP movement gets support from Diljit Dosanjh

New Delhi: Cockroach Janata Party (CJP)’s agitation continues regarding the paper leak issue at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. There was a clash between the protesters and the police during the ‘Sansad Chalo’ march organized on Monday. Meanwhile, to control the situation, police and paramilitary forces used force to stop the protesters and also fired tear gas shells.

However, despite this the agitators are firm on their demands. CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke has clearly said that the movement will continue until their demands are met. The main demand of the organization is the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and fair action in the paper leak case.

What did Diljit Dosanjh write?

Meanwhile, actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh has shared a post on social media in the interest of students. While sharing the Instagram story, he said that the treatment meted out to the students was not fair and their demands should be listened to seriously. Diljit wrote "Whatever happened today was very wrong, students should not be treated like this. I request the authorities to listen to the demands of the students." 

Diljit further wrote "I have been tagged as anti-national many times. Even now I will be called anti-national." Along with this, Singer also mentioned the farmers movement in his post, he wrote "After the farmers movement.. I had to face a lot of backlash and legal problems, which I cannot even discuss. Rest, God is watching everything, Baba, do good."

What is the whole controversy

This entire controversy is related to the allegations of paper leak and irregularities in OMR sheets of NEET-UG 2026 exam. CJP has been protesting at Jantar Mantar with students for the last several days. This movement started on 16 May. Later, social activist Sonam Wangchuk also joined the movement and sat on an indefinite fast demanding the resignation of the Education Minister. However, after his health deteriorated, he was admitted to Safdarjung Hospital.

This movement of CJP is getting support from many personalities from the film and art world. In this, many actors including Shabana Azmi, Prakash Raj, Sonakshi Sinha, Huma Qureshi, Bhumi Pednekar, Dia Mirza, Anurag Kashyap and Shilpa Rao have raised their voice in favor of the students. Now with the support of Diljit Dosanjh, this movement has got another famous face.
