Most Canadians believe that their country has more immigrants than are needed and expected. Support for immigrants in Canada is declining. According to a study by the Environics Institute, 6 out of every 10 Canadians, or 58 per cent, are against immigration. They feel that more foreigners are living there than necessary. Canadians believe it will increase by 14 per cent after 2023.
