VfB Stuttgart have confirmed that Angelo Stiller and Chris Führich have been handed late call-ups to the German national team for this month’s friendlies.
Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann has reacted to injuries suffered by Bayern Munich’s Aleksandar Pavlović and Borussia Dortmund’s Felix Nmecha over the weekend.
The German Football Association confirmed on Monday that two VfB Stuttgart players – Angelo Stiller and Chris Führich – have been called up to replace the injured midfielders.
Stiller, 24, has previously made five appearances for Germany’s senior national team, while Führich has earned eight caps.
Both players are set to link up with the national team on Monday afternoon along with the rest of the squad.
Germany face Switzerland on Friday before taking on Ghana on Monday.
