Successful completion of Jagadish Chandra Basu Memorial Lecture Series

Lucknow. The Jagdish Chandra Basu Memorial Lecture Series, organized under the joint aegis of Yuvarashtra and National Institute of Drug Education and Research (NIPER), Rae Bareli, was successfully organized on Saturday, 20 December 2025 at NIPER – Rae Bareli campus. The theme of the program was “Fundamental Exploration and Pharmaceutical Innovation in the Perspective of Health, Homeland and Prosperous Nation”.

The program started with the arrival of guests, Vande Mataram and lighting of the lamp. After this, Registrar of NIPER-Raibaresi, Dr. Jai Narayan presented memento to the chief guest Manoj Kant (co-area publicity head, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Eastern Uttar Pradesh) and distinguished guests. The welcome address was delivered by Shubhini Saraf, Director, NIPER-Rae Bareli, in which she underlined the role of fundamental research and pharmaceutical innovation in national development. After this, Associate Professor Ashok Kumar Datusalia of NIPER-Raebareli shared his views on the teachings of Acharya Jagadish Chandra Basu.

Chief guest Manoj Kant ji in his motivational lecture stressed the importance of health, indigenous thinking and research for building a prosperous nation. At the end of the session, certificates were distributed to the participants and the program formally concluded with the national anthem. This lecture series proved to be a source of inspiration for youth, researchers and teachers.
