Giving information in this matter, the airline spokesperson said that on 24 September 2024, Emirates flight EK547 was going from Chennai to Dubai but faced delay due to technical fault. Later the flight was inspected by the engineer, after which the plane was allowed to depart.

A video has been shared by a passenger in this regard in which it is said that smoke was seen coming out from the rear of the plane. During this time, the airline has apologized for the inconvenience caused to the passengers.
