Sudeva conducted two football trials in Mizoram and Assam

Aizawlआइजोल : Sudeva Delhi FC, a leading name in Indian football development, conducted two football trials in Mizoram and Assam this month, which received an overwhelming response from the grassroots football talent. The trials held in Aizawl, Mizoram on January 17 and Kokrajhar, Assam on January 19 were attended by over 1800 players from both the states, who were waiting for the opportunity to train at Sudeva's residential football academy in Delhi.

Sudeva Chairman Anuj Gupta personally participated in both the events, demonstrating his commitment towards discovering and nurturing football talent from across India. A pioneer in the development of grassroots football, Gupta has been conducting all-India trials for over a decade, discovering promising players and guiding them to realize their full potential.

“The talent and passion shown in these trials was extraordinary,” Gupta said, according to a Sudeva Delhi FC release. “We are dedicated to identifying young footballers from all corners of India and providing them world-class training, infrastructure and a pathway to professional football,” he said. Sudeva's residential academy in Delhi offers excellent coaching under highly qualified professionals and top-class infrastructure to foster the development of young athletes. Many players trained at Sudeva have joined Indian Super League (ISL) and I-League clubs and been selected for the Indian national team.

The trials in Mizoram and Assam continue Sudeva's mission to bring football opportunities to untapped areas and inspire the next generation of players. The huge participation in these events underlines the deep reservoir of untapped football talent in the North-East and reaffirms Sudeva's commitment to providing a platform for young athletes to shine. Earlier, Stuttgart's Bundesliga club and Sudeva Delhi FC officially announced their partnership at the MHP Arena in Stuttgart.

This historic collaboration marks a huge leap forward in fostering relations between Indian and German football, reflecting a shared commitment to the growth and development of the game across the borders. The event was a memorable occasion, the highlight of which was the official signing ceremony during a gala evening on 22 November, immediately followed by an engaging panel discussion featuring football experts and representatives from both clubs. According to a release from Delhi Soccer Association, the discussion covered the opportunities and challenges of Indian football and how international collaboration can pave the way for a brighter future in the game.
