He debuted with the film Bhojpuri Bhaiya in 2007 and quickly gained fame for his performances in movies like Masihababu, Hamar Sangi Bajrangbali, Bhojpuria Daroga, Hamar Lalkar, Dharati Ka Beta and We are Dharmayoddha to count a few.

Beyond acting, Sudip Pandey was also actively involved in politics and was a member of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP).
