Often people eat heavy or unhealthy breakfast due to lack of time, but cheela made from semolina (Rava) is not only easy to digest, but is also a good source of protein and fiber. Ingredients for making Semolina Cheela (Ingredients) Semolina: 1 cup (any fine or thick) Curd: ½ cup (fresh and slightly sour) Vegetables: Finely chopped onion, tomato, capsicum, and carrot (as per your choice) Green chilli and ginger: Finely chopped Coriander: Chopped Spices: Salt (as per taste), black pepper powder, and half teaspoon Oil/Ghee: For frying Water: To prepare the batter Method of preparation: Step-by-step (Method) Prepare the batter: Mix semolina and curd well in a large vessel. Prepare a thick batter by adding water little by little. Keep in mind that the solution should neither be too thin nor too thick. Resting Time: Semolina absorbs water, so cover the solution and leave it for 10-15 minutes. This will make the chiles soft and meshy.Vegetables and spices: Now add all the chopped vegetables, ginger, chilli, green coriander and spices to this solution and mix well. If the batter seems too thick, add some more water. Bake the cheela: Heat a non-stick pan and apply some oil on it.
