Sumit Nagal loses in Basel, Bollipalli-Khade wins first ATP 250 title in Almaty

Mumbai Mumbai. India's Sumit Nagal lost in the second round of qualifying at the Swiss Indoors in Basel, while the unseeded pair of Ritwik Choudhary Bolipalli and Arjun Khade won the Almaty Open men's doubles title on Sunday. Olympian and India's top singles player Nagal lost 6-4 7-6(2) against Australia's James Duckworth in the qualifiers in Basel. But for Bolipalli and Khade, it was a dream come true in Almaty. The Indian pair battled hard for one hour and 41 minutes and defeated Nicolas Barrientos of Colombia and Scandar Mansouri of Tunisia 3-6 7-6 14-12 to win their first ATP 250 title.
