Sun Group debuts at Seoul travel fair with Phu Quoc focus

South Korea remains one of Vietnam’s largest inbound tourism markets, with travel demand between the two countries continuing to grow. The group’s participation in one of South Korea’s largest travel exhibitions is expected to support tourism promotion efforts and strengthen connections with international partners.

Under the theme “Visit Vietnam: Beloved Destinations – Extraordinary Experiences,” the company will showcase destinations including Da Nang, Phu Quoc, Sa Pa, and Ha Long. The exhibition will feature tourism products, hospitality offerings, and entertainment attractions aimed at international travelers.

A key focus of this year’s participation will be Phu Quoc, where organizers plan to present the island’s development roadmap ahead of its role as host of APEC 2027. Infrastructure upgrades, tourism projects, and hospitality developments currently underway are expected to play a role in shaping the island’s future positioning in the regional tourism market.

Throughout the four-day fair, the booth will host business meetings, customer engagement activities, and presentations for tourism, hospitality, and aviation products. The event also provides an opportunity to connect with travel agencies, tour operators, and tourism distributors from South Korea.

Alongside destination marketing efforts, Sun Group will introduce promotional offers from Sun PhuQuoc Airways for visitors attending the fair.

Under the program, travelers booking flights through the airline’s website or mobile application between June 4 and June 7 will be eligible for a 20% discount on base fares for routes connecting South Korea and Phu Quoc. The promotion applies to both one-way and round-trip economy-class tickets for travel between June 15 and Oct. 24, excluding peak periods specified by the carrier.

The airline announced that it will make 200 promotional codes available during the event.

Visitors to the booth will also have opportunities to participate in interactive activities and receive prizes, including round-trip tickets on the Seoul–Phu Quoc route and vouchers for resorts within the company’s hospitality portfolio.

The participation marks Sun Group’s first presence at SITF and reflects broader efforts to promote Vietnamese destinations to international travelers, particularly as Phu Quoc prepares for a new phase of tourism and infrastructure development ahead of APEC 2027.
