Sun PhuQuoc Airways opens ticket sales for Phu Quoc-Hong Kong route
Sun PhuQuoc Airways (SPA) will operate five flights per week, with the inaugural flight scheduled for May 22.
The airline expands links between the island and a major regional travel and financial hub. Round-trip fares start from VND3.664 million (US$139), positioning the route for short-haul travel demand.

The planned frequency is intended to support itinerary planning for both passengers and travel partners. SPA is also working with OpenSky as its general sales agent in Hong Kong to strengthen distribution and market access.
Short-duration trips remain a key segment among Hong Kong travelers, particularly for beach destinations within a few hours’ flight.
Phu Quoc is well-positioned as an ideal destination for three- to four-day trips. The island’s natural beauty, a special 30-day visa exemption policy for international visitors, and a large-scale tourism and hospitality ecosystem developed by Sun Group in the southern part of the island continue to attract international visitors, particularly from Northeast Asia.

The Hong Kong service marks the airline’s third international route. Earlier, SPA launched flights to Taipei (Taiwain, China) on March 29 and plans to begin operations to Incheon (Seoul, South Korea) on April 17.
With its “Rise Together” vision, Sun PhuQuoc Airways plays a key role in connecting Sun Group’s aviation and tourism ecosystem, contributing to positioning Phu Quoc as a rising international destination.
