Suniel Shetty’s “Trim The Old, Make Space For New” Plant Pruning Mantra Applies To Life Too

Bollywood star Suniel Shetty spent a rather therapeutic Sunday at his Mumbai home. The Dhadkan actor was seen pruning his potted plants and lending them a new lease of life by trimming the dead and dried bits. Plant pruning is one of the easiest ways to promote healthy plant growth and for those who have a green finger, find therapy in the activity. But his caption indicated a little more than just plant pruning. “Sundays like these = Therapy There’s something magical about pruning – cutting away the dead bits so the rest can thrive. It’s like hitting the reset button, not just for my plants, but for me too. A little trim, a little fresh air, and boom – we’re both ready to grow again. Sometimes, we all need that… trim the old, make space for the new, and let the light in. Who else is pruning life today?” he captioned.

Suniel Shetty was seen in a zen mode having a therapy-themed Sunday pruning his plants but this Sunday chore was also a lesson on leading a happy life. And no, it had more to do with just plants. He metaphorically compared the pruning of his plants to putting life in reset mode.

It was simply beautiful to witness how it was not just the plants being trimmed, given fresh air and made ready for another round of life. But this idea applied equally to humans who also need some downtime, grooming, and fresh air from the negativity and fast-paced lives that we live to flourish and let the light in. So whether people or circumstances, cut the dead bits so that you’re ready to take on whatever life throws at you and allow you to grow yet again.

Who knew that we all needed a positive Monday courtesy of Suniel Shetty’s Sunday lesson on plants and life?
