Sunita Williams celebrated Christmas in space, sent video to Earth
New Delhi : Indian-origin NASA astronaut Sunita Williams and her team congratulated everyone on Earth on the occasion of Christmas from the International Space Station (ISS). The US space agency has shared a video on X, in which Williams and his fellow passengers are seen wearing Santa Claus hats.
Celebrated Christmas with the team
This time Sunita Williams is celebrating Christmas at the International Space Station with her team. She told in the video that she is celebrating this special day despite staying away from her family and friends. The video also showed Williams and six other fellow astronauts standing near a small Christmas tree.

In this video, another astronaut told that this time a lot of food was sent to him on Christmas. Apart from this, SpaceX Dragon Capsule has sent many essential items and Christmas gifts to the space station.
When did you start the journey?
Williams and astronaut Barry Wilmore began their journey aboard their Boeing Starliner spacecraft in June this year, an eight-day mission. During this journey, he got a chance to stay connected with his family and friends on Earth from space.
