Despite the excitement for the new pairing of Wahaj and Maya many fans especially those who appreciated Wahaj chemistry with Yumna Zaidi are voicing their disappointment. Debates are ongoing on social media regarding the chemistry between Wahaj and Yumna versus Wahaj and Maya.

Some fans are unhappy with the new pairing and claim that Maya team is deleting negative comments that critique the chemistry between her and Wahaj. In response to the growing chatter Maya Ali finally addressed the issue during an Instagram Q&A session.
When a user asked her “Do you like Yumna and Wahaj chemistry?” the actress gracefully replied “There is no doubt about their chemistry in Tere Bin. They are brilliant actors”
Despite the controversy anticipation remains high for “Sunn Mere Dil” in which Maya will portray the character Sadaf while Wahaj will play Bilal Abdullah.
