Sunny Deol’s film ‘Border 2’ has kept its hold strong at the box office. The film collected a whopping Rs 224.25 crore in the first week, while it collected Rs 70.15 crore and Rs 23.35 crore in the second and third week. There was a slight decline in the film’s earnings during the fourth week, where it did business in lakhs between 22nd to 27th day. According to the report of Sacknilk, on the 28th day i.e. fourth Thursday, the film earned Rs 55 lakh, due to which its total collection has now reached Rs 324.35 crore.

About ‘Border 2’ and Border

JP Dutta’s ‘Border’, released in 1997, was a blockbuster film, which earned Rs 66.70 crore, six times more than its cost with a budget of just Rs 12 crore. In comparison, ‘Border 2’ has been made on a much bigger budget i.e. Rs 275 crores. The film has collected Rs 324.35 crore in 28 days, which is not double its budget, but has got the tag of ‘hit’ because it has recovered its cost and made profit.
