New Year 2026: Sunny Leone’s New Year event canceled in Mathura, sages and saints protested
Sunny Leone’s New Year 2026 Event Canceled: Actress Sunny Leone’s New Year program to be held at a local bar in Mathura got cancelled. The organizers canceled the event after objections from local sages and saints. According to one of the organizers, Leone was to attend a program in which she was to play DJ on January 1.

This event, planned once to welcome the new year 2026, ran into trouble as soon as it was announced. Expressing anger over this show, the saints said that the religious and cultural sanctity of Mathura should be maintained. In a letter to the District Magistrate on Monday, Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Sangharsh Trust formally demanded the cancellation of the event. Out of respect for the growing protests and local sentiments, the organizers decided to cancel the event.
Dinesh Sharma Falahari Maharaj said, “Braj Bhoomi is the land of penance of Gods. It is here that Lord Krishna performed Maharas, Makhan Chori Leela and Raas Leela. On such a holy land, if someone like Sunny Leone spreads obscenity and any actress associated with porn films dances on Braj Bhoomi, then it hurts the sentiments of our revered Lord…”
