Superintendent of Police conducted monthly crime review seminar and military conference

A monthly crime review seminar and military conference was organized by Superintendent of Police Abhishek Verma on 18.07.2026 at Police Line Churk. Additional Superintendent of Police (Headquarters) Anil Kumar, all area officers, counter inspectors, all in-charge inspectors, Superintendent District Jail Gurma, in-charge GRP, RPF Chopan and Renukoot, forest officers Renukoot and Robertsganj and excise officer Robertsganj were present in the meeting.
In the meeting, the Superintendent of Police reviewed the law and order and crime control of the district, quality disposal of pending investigations, announcement of rewards and arrest of wanted criminals, effective action under NDPS and Gangster Act, Operation Panic, cyber fraud, CEIR portal, cow smuggling, IGRS, public hearing, beat policing, e-summons, disposal of goods and vehicles, under section 126/135 BNSS. Necessary guidelines were given after detailed review of preventive action, installation of CCTV, disposal of corruption related complaints, action against top-10 criminals and arrangements of police station premises.

During the meeting, Superintendent of Police Abhishek Verma, while taking effective action against organized economic crime, honored area officer Pipri Harsh Pandey, inspector in-charge Anpara Pranay Prasun Srivastava and police station incharge Mayorpur Santosh Singh, who played an important role in confiscation* of the crime-earned property worth about ₹ 1.42 crore, of an accused who was embezzling investors’ money by operating a fake bank, and honored him with a citation.

It is noteworthy that in the said case, effective legal action was taken against the property acquired from crime under Section 107 BNSS and property worth about ₹ 1.42 crore was attached/seized. After listening to the problems of the police personnel during the military conference, necessary instructions were given to the concerned officers for their quick and quality disposal.
In the end, the Superintendent of Police directed all the officers that during the upcoming festivals, maintaining public safety, peace and law and order should be the top priority and every officer should ensure that they discharge their responsibilities with full dedication and responsibility.
