Superstar Vijay’s film Jana Nayakan leaked on social media, Rajinikanth and Chiranjeevi demanded punishment of the accused.
Mumbai Superstar Rajinikanth has appealed to the film association to raise their voice against the alleged leak of Thalapathy Vijay’s film Jana Nayakan. On his X handle, Rajinikanth called this alleged leak shocking and painful. He has appealed to the government to give strict punishment to those responsible for this leak. Rajinikanth wrote that someone releasing Jana Nayakan film on the internet is a shocking and painful incident. The film association should raise its voice against this, and the government should identify those responsible and give them strict punishment. Such crimes should not be allowed to continue in future.

Meanwhile, South’s veteran actor Chiranjeevi wrote on X that the film threw light on the expectations and hard work of the producers of Jana Nayakan and people associated with cinema. Chiranjeevi wrote that the unfortunate leak of the film Jana Nayakan is an incident that has worried me greatly. Cinema stands on faith, hard work and the collective dreams of many people. Incidents like these impact all of us in the industry and remind us how important it is to protect our creative work. He assured KVN Productions of his full support in preventing the loss caused by this alleged leak and bringing the culprits to justice. Chiranjeevi wrote that we stand united with KVN Productions to stop the loss and bring the culprits to justice. Let us all show our support to respect and protect cinema and end piracy. Earlier, the film’s production house KVN Productions issued a strong statement appealing to people not to share or watch the leaked content. KVN Productions, which is supporting the film, released a statement on X on Friday evening confirming that parts of the film, and in some cases almost the entire film, are being circulated illegally on social media and other platforms. The team called it a serious case of digital piracy and said that they are taking the matter very seriously.

The statement further said that we hereby inform that downloading, viewing, storing, forwarding, sharing, uploading or circulating such leaked content through WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, websites, torrents or any other medium is a criminal offense and a violation of copyright laws. The team also warned people that viewing or forwarding such content is also a crime. Every digital activity is traceable and we have already initiated necessary investigations, including forensic investigation and complaints against those involved. We are actively identifying all other people involved in this chain of circulation. Strict civil and criminal action will be taken against every offender without exception. The film Jana Nayakan, which is said to be Vijay’s last film before his full entry into politics. It has already faced delays due to certification issues. The film was initially scheduled to release on 9 January during Pongal.
