Supreme Court rejects PIL demanding introduction of physical wallet system during elections

Bhadohi – Today the Supreme Court rejected a PIL seeking reintroduction of the paper wallet system in Indian elections. The court heard the petitioner Dr. K.A. Rejected Pal's claims of EVM tampering, highlighting the inconsistency of leaders who question the credibility of EVMs only when they lose elections.

Rejecting the petition, the bench remarked that if you win the election, EVMs are not tampered with. When you lose elections, EVMs are tampered with. Thus ultimately Justice Vikram Nath and Justice P.B. Varale's bench heard petitioner Dr. K.A. Rejecting Pal's arguments, the PIL was dismissed.
