Indian T20 captain Suryakumar Yadav welcomed all-rounder Ramandeep Singh and fast bowler Vijaykumar Vaishakh as they joined the squad for the first time for the T20 series against South Africa. The African team will play a T20 match against India for the first time after their defeat against the Men in Blue in the final of the T20 World Cup 2024 on June 29.

Introducing the uncapped players, Suryakumar Yadav said, “Hello friends, today we have brought for you two special recipes for the cricket field. The first is a fast bowler and the second is an explosive batsman. He first introduced the bowler Vijayakumar. Suryakumar Yadav while introducing Vijay Kumar Vaishakh said that let's first make a great fast bowler.

He further says, “To be a fast bowler you need agility, stamina, courage, power and a lot of speed. So can you make a fast bowler without all these things? No, the faster, the better. Now let's add a dash of bravery and a mixture of heart and mind to it. Now cook fitness and patience on low flame, only then you will enjoy and our fast bowler is ready.

Suryakumar said in a video posted by BCCI. The right-handed batsman said, “Now the time has come that we develop a great batsman and for this we need patience, confidence and a smart mind. First of all sprinkle the salt of patience, the spice of footwork and the sauce of concentration. Only when there is coordination between bat and legs, batsmen will become the best. Then add the powder of confidence and timing. When the timing is right in cricket and life, everything goes well. At last, cleverness according to taste. So friends, our fast bowlers and batsmen are ready. Put these two in the furnace of training and see how their magic works on the field.”

Ramandeep Singh, rewarded for his solid performances with Kolkata Knight Riders in the 2024 IPL season and his stellar performance in the Emerging Teams Asia Cup, has been included in the squad as a promising all-rounder. Vaishakh played for the RCB franchise in four matches of the 2024 IPL.

He took four wickets in four matches and turned the match in his team's favor with his game-changing spells. The series between India and South Africa will begin on November 8 at the Kingsmead Cricket Stadium in Durban. The second T20 match will be played on November 10 at St. George Park in Gekebarha, while the third match will be played on November 13 at SuperSport Park in Centurion. The series will conclude with the fourth T20 match on November 15 at the Wanderers Stadium.
