‘I am not out of form, just not getting runs’, Captain Surya’s clarification on poor performance
Suryakumar Yadav: Yesterday, the third match of the 5-match T20 series between India and South Africa was played in Dharamshala. The Indian team performed brilliantly and won the third match by 7 wickets and took a 2-1 lead in the series.
The Indian team made a great comeback after a shameful defeat in the second match of the series. But the continuous poor performance of the Indian captain is raising big questions. Surya, while giving clarification in his presentation after the match, said that the form is fine, but runs are not coming.

‘Form is there, not runs’- Surya
Speaking about his poor form in the post-match presentation party, captain Suryakumar Yadav said, “The thing is that I am batting very well in the nets. Whatever is under my control, I am trying everything. And when the match comes, when runs have to be scored, they will definitely be scored. But yes, I am trying to score runs, I am not out of form, but yes, runs are not being scored.” Let us tell you that Surya has scored 29 runs in the three innings played so far in this series.
flops are happening continuously
Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav is continuously going through bad form. There has been no big innings from his bat for a long time. After the Asia Cup and Australia tour this year, Surya now looks completely helpless against South Africa. He has scored only 239 runs in the last 21 innings and has not scored a single half-century. His form is an alarm bell for the Indian team before next year’s T20 World Cup.
