Ranchi: Jharkhand ATS and Delhi Police, in joint action, have arrested a suspected terrorist. Even before this, Jharkhand ATS had raided more than a dozen locations in Lohardaga including state capital Ranchi, Hazaribagh and arrested four suspects.
Along with this, the leader of this module, Dr. Ishtiaq Ahmed, was arrested from Bariatu, Ranchi. The same Faizan alias Munna was arrested from Hazaribagh while Mo Rizwan and Mufti Rahmatullah were arrested from Chanho in Ranchi and taken with them by the special team of Delhi.

In the same case, Special Cell Delhi and ATS Jharkhand team had come to arrest the accused Shahbaz Ansari, father of Khalil Ansari in case number 301/24 of Delhi Special Cell, from Chanho village police station area. But when she was not found in her village, the team arrested accused Shahbaz Ansari from Chitri police station Senha. The team is now taking him to Delhi.

Special Cell Delhi and ATS Jharkhand team had come to Chanho police station to arrest Shahbaz Ansari, son of Khalil Ansari, resident of Chanho police station area of Ranchi district, accused in case number 301/24 of Delhi Special Cell. Accused Shahbaz Ansari is being arrested from Chitri village of Senha police station area of Lohardaga district and is being taken to Delhi. Suspected terrorist Shahbaz Ansari was living in his brother-in-law's house in Chitri Amba Toli of Lohardaga district since December 31.

Weapons were found in Lohardaga, in which Shahbaz was also involved.
In the month of August 2024, the ATS team had raided Henzala Kauvakhap village of Kudu in Lohardaga. The ATS team had reached here in search of Altaf alias Iltaf, but he was not found in the house. During the raid, two weapons and several incriminating documents were recovered from his house. During this time, Shahbaz's house was also raided but he was found absconding.
