Suvendu Adhikari’s victory in legal trouble, Mamata Banerjee knocked on the door of Calcutta High Court

Now the news of Mamata Banerjee going to court has come to light. According to the media, Mamata Banerjee has not yet been able to digest the defeat in the Bhawanipur Assembly Elections. Regarding this, Mamata Banerjee directly reached Calcutta High Court on Tuesday afternoon. Senior party leaders Kunal Ghosh and Dola Sen were also present with him. Since the announcement of the election results, Mamata Banerjee was continuously raising questions regarding these results. Now he has given a legal turn to this entire matter by approaching the court.

Mamata Banerjee entered the High Court complex from ‘C’ gate at around 2:30 pm. She filed her petition there and came out within some time. According to experts, this petition is not only to challenge the results, but has been filed with the demand to keep all the important documents related to the elections safe. Suvendu Adhikari had defeated Mamata Banerjee from Bhawanipur seat by a huge margin of 15,105 votes.

Earlier, he had also moved the High Court against the 2021 Nandigram election results, the matter of which is yet to be resolved. On one hand, Suvendu Adhikari is the candidate who has won the elections for the second consecutive time, while on the other hand, Mamata Banerjee is fighting a legal battle after losing for the second consecutive time. Now all eyes are on what stance the court takes on this petition and will it create any major crisis for Suvendu Adhikari’s position?
