Suzuki 350cc Bike
In an interview conducted by MCN at EICMA 2025, Suzuki Motor Corporation’s president Toshihiro Suzuki and general manager of motorcycle marketing Akira Kyuji shed light on their upcoming plans.
Akira Kyuji clearly stated that the 350cc to 500cc bike segment is growing rapidly across the world, be it Asia or Europe. This segment has become especially popular among riders who seek the perfect mix of performance, comfort, and affordability.
When Suzuki was asked if they were interested in this segment, their answer was simple, “If customers demand, we will enter it.” In such a situation, Suzuki’s entry into this segment seems almost confirmed.
Engine
Now the question arises as to which engine Suzuki will launch its Royal Enfield-rival bike with. The company already has a 398cc single-cylinder engine available, which is used in the DR-Z4S trellis and DR-Z4SM supermoto bikes. This engine produces 37.5bhp and also meets Euro5+ norms.
Experts believe that if Suzuki adjusts this engine slightly to 350cc, it could be the perfect choice for their new mid-segment bike.
Brands like KTM, Royal Enfield, Triumph and Bajaj already have a strong presence in this segment. But the arrival of a global giant like Suzuki can change the entire market equation.
Confirmation
The biggest question is whether Suzuki has confirmed that this bike is coming, so let us tell you that its official confirmation has not come yet. The hints are quite strong. Suzuki’s India line-up currently consists of only 150cc-250cc bikes. In the high-performance segment, they also have heavy bikes like Hayabusa, GSX-8R, and V-Strom 800DE.

Game Changer
Royal Enfield’s 350cc segment is considered almost unbeatable in India. But imagine what a scene it would be if a Japanese brand entered this race with its reliability, performance tuning and smooth engine experience.

Market experts believe that with the way the 350cc segment is growing, Suzuki’s entry into it is almost certain.
