Big blow to Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand, POCSO court orders to register FIR; serious allegations of sexual abuse
ADJ Rape and POCSO Special Court gave a big order in the case of allegations of sexual exploitation against Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati of Jyotish Peeth in Prayagraj. The court has ordered Jhunsi police station to register an FIR against Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati and his disciple Swami Mukundanand Giri and investigate. ADJ POCSO Act Vinod Kumar Chaurasia has ordered to register an FIR against Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati and his disciple Swami Mukundanand Giri.
Strict action was demanded
The court ordered the police to register an FIR and investigate the case. After the court order, a case will now be registered in Jhunsi police station. An application was filed under section 173 (4) on behalf of Shakumbhari Peethadhishwar Ashutosh Brahmachari Maharaj. A demand was made to register an FIR and take strict action.
Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati’s troubles may increase
On February 13, the statements of both the minors who made the allegations were recorded in the court along with videography. The court had also taken the police report into cognizance. After recording the statement and taking into consideration the police report, the court had reserved the judgment. Now the troubles of Swami Avimukteshwarananda Saraswati may increase. Ashutosh Brahmachari is the head of Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Mukti Nirman Trust and Shakumbhari Peethadhishwar. Ashutosh Brahmachari has alleged that sexual exploitation of minor children takes place in the ashram of Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati. It has been claimed that he has also submitted its CD to the court. Ashutosh Brahmachari has said that he has got justice from the court, he will take out Sanatan Yatra on foot from Prayagraj to Vidya Math Varanasi. Will put the truth out in front of the people.
