Swara Bhaskar's husband Fahadh joins NCP Sharad Pawar faction, will contest elections from this seat of Mumbai..

Mumbai:- Political activities are at their peak regarding Maharashtra Assembly elections 2024. Meanwhile, actress Swara Bhaskar's husband Fahadh Ahmed joined Sharad Pawar-led NCP on Sunday. The party has made Fahadh the candidate from Anushakti Nagar, Mumbai. Where he will face NCP leader Sana Malik.

Before this Fahad Ahmed was in Samajwadi Party. He was the state president of Samajwadi Yuvjan Sabha, the youth wing of SP's Maharashtra unit.

NCP leader Jayant Patil said, Fahad Ahmed is a well-educated youth and has worked as a worker across the country. People want us to give a chance to such leaders. Earlier he was in Samajwadi Party, but we had talks with SP and he came to our party. We gave him a ticket from our party from Anushakti Nagar assembly constituency.

What did Fahadh say after getting the ticket?
After getting the ticket from Anushakti Nagar seat, Fahad Ahmed said that the roots of Samajwadi Party and NCP are linked to 'socialism'. The people of Maharashtra are waiting for the elections to get rid of the present government. Samajwadi Party and NCP are like a family. There has been a very strong relationship between Mulayam Singh Yadav and Sharad Pawar and Supriya Sule and Akhilesh Yadav.

According to media reports, SP leader Abu Azmi had spoken to Sharad Pawar last week and suggested fielding SP leader Fahadh Ahmed as the NCP candidate from Mumbai's Anushakti Nagar seat.

Earlier, Samajwadi Party had announced to contest on at least 20 seats in Maharashtra Assembly elections. Because the talks on seat sharing with Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) could not reach any result. At the same time, Fahad Ahmed was expected to contest the elections on Samajwadi Party ticket.
