Sweden's first Miss World Kiki Hokansson dies at the age of 95

Washington Washington. Kiki Hawkson, the first winner of the Miss World beauty pageant, has died at the age of 95. Miss World's social media handle officially confirmed her demise with a picture of the model. The official handle of Misworld confirmed the news on Instagram. The caption accompanying the photo reads, “Kiki Håkansson, Sweden's first Miss World, died peacefully at her home in California on Monday, November 4. She was 95. Kiki passed away in her sleep and was survived by her children.” According to, “He died peacefully, comfortably and well cared for. Kiki became Miss World in London in 1951.” The caption further reads, “Her son Chris Anderson described his mother as “genuine, kind, loving and funny.” “He had a brilliant sense of humor and wit and a huge heart,” she wrote in a note sent to Julia Morley.
