Sydney terrorist attack: Pak connection of terrorists revealed, big revelations in investigation

Sydney. The horrific attack on Sydney’s famous Bondi Beach, located in the New South Wales state of Australia, shocked the entire country. 16 people lost their lives in this attack. Investigation has revealed that the two main accused who carried out the attack were father and son. They have been identified as Sajid Akram (50 years) and Navid Akram (24 years). Both of them attacked with weapons targeting the crowd. Sajid Akram died on the spot in retaliatory action by security forces, while Navid Akram is admitted in the hospital in a seriously injured condition.
According to investigating agencies, a third person was also involved in this attack, whose search is on. According to preliminary information, Sajid Akram used to run a fruit shop in Sydney. Before the attack, both of them had told their family that they were going on a fishing trip over the weekend, but after this this horrific incident came to light.

The attack took place during a celebration organized during the Jewish festival of Hanukkah, due to which it has been officially declared a terrorist attack. Both the accused are said to be Pakistani citizens. After the incident, his house in Bonnyrigg, western suburb of Sydney, was raided and many important clues were collected. Navid Akram’s mother publicly said that her son was a calm person, neither a drug addict nor in any bad company. According to them, Naveed used to help in household chores and everyday life was very normal. Investigation has also revealed that Naveed had received education in an Islamic center in Australia. Now efforts are being made to find out whether he was in contact with any radical network. At present, there has been no official confirmation of any foreign conspiracy, but it is being investigated whether these two had any connection with any banned terrorist organization.

Iran connection also investigated
The investigating agencies are also keeping an eye on the role of Iran, because the attack was carried out during the Jewish festival. In recent times, this angle is being seriously explored in the context of increasing violent activities against Israel and the Jewish community. However, this attack has been condemned by Iran. At present, the investigation is being carried forward keeping all the aspects in mind.
