T-20 World Cup 2026: Afghanistan gave Canada a target of 201 runs, Ibrahim played a brilliant inning of 95 not out.

Chennai. On the basis of explosive batting by Ibrahim Zadran (95 not out) and Sediqullah Atal (44), Afghanistan scored a huge score of 200 runs against Canada in the 39th match of the T-20 World Cup on Thursday. Here today Canada won the toss and decided to bowl first.

Coming to bat, the opening pair of Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran added 47 runs for the first wicket. In the sixth over, Jaskaran Singh broke this partnership by dismissing Rahmanullah Gurbaz for 30 runs in 20 balls. In the same over, Jaskaran also dismissed Gulbadin Naib (one).

Sediqullah Atal laid the foundation of a big score by adding 95 runs for the third wicket with Ibrahim Zadran. Sediqullah Atal scored 44 runs in 32 balls with the help of two fours and two sixes. Azmatullah Omarzai was out after scoring 13 runs.

Afghanistan scored a huge score of 200 runs for four wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Ibrahim Zadran played an unbeaten inning of 95 runs in 56 balls, hitting seven fours and five sixes. Jaskaran Singh took three wickets for Canada. Dillon Helliger struck out one batter.
